IT administrator in Prague
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for troubleshooting, problem solving and maintaining desktop PC, VR systems, network infrastructure and material handling

  • Responsible for end-user computer installations and support in Europe

  • Responsible for all aspects of desktop, laptop and VR configuration, performance and operation

  • Responsible for maintenance, repair, upgrades, enhancements, and configuration of hardware, software and operating systems

  • Responsible for hockey stick assembly production at a 3rd party vendor.

  • Dispatch service requests and issues to appropriate points of contact defined within the IT support organization

  • Responsible for contacting correct IT/business owners when issues arise

  • Responsible for implementing new policies and procedures

  • Working with CTO on reporting for analysis

  • Working with CTO on R&D projects - haptic feedback, immersive experience

  • Contribute to monthly meeting agenda with suggestions for improvement

  • Soldering and assembling skills is a big plus

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 3 or more experience as a desktop support technician

  • Technical expertise in Microsoft Windows 10 and HTC Vive products

  • Working knowledge of Unity, Steam, Steam VR

  • Strong troubleshooting abilities

  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting

  • Self-motivated

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Czech. English will be a significant advantage

  • Proven track record in providing excellent customer service

  • Ability to handle difficult and complex issues

  • Highly organized and able to multi-task

  • Able to prioritize and work independently
