As we find ourselves in a difficult situation globally, we at Sense Arena are wishing all health and strength as we navigate and monitor COVID-19. We wish to extend our thoughts and prayers to anyone who has been directly affected by this virus.
In light of the current circumstances, we wanted to issue a statement in regard to our business operations in the coming weeks. Sense Arena is committed to maintaining our regular hours of operation, continuing our services and customer care during this difficult time. Our highest priority is the health and safety of our facilities, players and our staff. We have been in regular communication with all involved around temporary closures, protocols and slight modifications in operations that best support everyone’s health and well-being during this time.
As we move forward, our team is focussed on reinforcing the highest standards of operating procedures and hygiene. We would like to share our recommendations for sanitizing and maintaining a Sense Arena facility and/or unit below:
- In a Sense Arena facility, please focus on disinfecting high-use surfaces and areas such as door handles, railings, light switches, faucets, etc., regularly.
- The Sense Arena kiosk, sticks, and Virtual Reality Headset must be of the utmost importance - please disinfect after EACH use and allow time between users at all times.
- A sanitizing cleanser with isopropyl alcohol is recommended to best sanitize your unit.
- Hand-washing before and after usage is mandatory. Please ensure all users are aware of proper hand-washing practices, and ensure your facility has the appropriate material to allow these practices (hand-washing guides, appropriate soaps, hand sanitizers, and disposable towels).
We at Sense Arena recognize the importance of staying sharp and game-ready during the season, in the off-season, and most crucially now as we face indefinite disruptions in hockey. As we continue to learn more about COVID-19, we remain committed to maintaining a clean and safe environment for everyone involved where possible. We thank our current and future facilities and customers for their continued support and understanding during this time. We recognize the challenges of mandated and recommended closures and remain focussed on supporting and navigating through this situation with all involved. As always, do not hesitate to reach out to us with any questions.

Stay healthy and stay tuned.
Yours in Training,
and the Sense Arena Team
