HARDWARE Q & A

Computer is not starting
  • Check if computer is connected to power source and power light is on.

No image in Vive Pro Helmet
  • Turn on Steam VR on Desktop

  • Check if helmet is connected to Link Box and light on Link Box is green, if not push blue button on Link Box

  • Check if all 3 cables are correctly connected to Link Box and computer

Image in Vive Pro Helmet is blurry
  • Try to move Helmet up and down and use top strap of the Helmet to mount it correctly

  • Also use switch on the right side of the Helmet to change lens distance to match your eyes

Can’t see Vive Controllers in Sense Arena
  • Turn on Controllers by pushing Menu button for 3 seconds, than wait until it beeps

  • Light on the Controllers should be green, if not you have to pair it with computer by choosing Steam VR -> Devices -> Pair device and follow the instructions on the screen

Can’t see Vive Trackers in Sense Arena
  • Check if all Dongles are connected to computer

  • Turn on Tracker by pushing Menu button for 3 seconds, if it’s mounted to the hockey stick it should vibrate for couple of seconds

  • Light on the Tracker should be green, if not you have to pair it with computer by choosing Steam VR -> Devices -> Pair device and push Menu button on Tracker for 5 seconds

Blue light on Vive Controller or Vive Tracker
  • Blue light means that Controller or Tracker is charged but not paired with computer

  • Check if all Dongles and Helmet are connected

  • Pair device with computer by choosing Steam VR -> Devices -> Pair device and follow the instructions on the screen

Blue light blinking on Vive Controller or Vive Tracker
  • Blinking blue light means that device is now in Pairing Mode. Probably you were pushing Menu button for too long when tried to turn it on, just wait a minute and try again

Red light blinking on Vive Controller or Vive Tracker
  • Charge your device using Micro USB cable

Orange light on Vive Controller or Vive Tracke
  • Device is charging

White light on Vive Controller or Vive Tracker
  • Device fully charged, unplug and use it

Red light on Vive Pro Helmet
  • Helmet is turned off

  • Check if light on Link Box is green, if not, push blue button on it

  • Also check all cables

Direction of virtual hockey stick is different to the real one
  • Check direction of the Tracker on the hockey stick

  • Screw on the other side of the hockey stick could got loose

Hockey stick stopped vibrating
  • Charge your hockey stick with Micro USB cable

SOFTWARE Q & A

Sense Arena is taking too long to load
  • Sometimes Windows is checking files of the apps for security reasons, wait for 5 minutes, if nothing happens, try to reboot computer

Steam is taking too long to load
  • When Steam starts, it’s checking itself for updates, just wait until update is over

Steam is offering to update my files in the Cloud
  • Choose files with latest date

Can’t login to player’s account
  • App should told you why: License expired, no internet connection etc

  • If there is no message, please contact Support

Can’t create account for a new player
  • Check if you’re logged in as a Coach

I see virtual ice skate instead of the hockey stick or vice versa
  • You have to run Body Setup in Sense Arena and follow the instructions

Seeing left hockey stick instead of right or vice versa
  • Switch hockey stick direction in Main menu -> General settings

Puck is sliding under virtual hockey stick
  • Calibration of the floor got broken, you have to recalibrate the floor, in Main or Players menu choose Calibration and follow the instructions

  • Try not to loose tracking of the Helmet by covering it or turning off from the Lighthouses

Virtual ice rink is rotated
  • Calibration of the floor got broken, you have to recalibrate the floor, in Main or Players menu choose Calibration and follow the instructions

Player can’t see his training plan
  • As coach, check if there is training plan for this player in Cloud Platform

  • Try to log out and log in back
